Partner, Color Force
Brad Simpson is a film producer and partner in Color Force. He is known for producing acclaimed independent films such as “Boys Don’t Cry” and “Far From Heaven” as well as for the box office successes “World War Z” and the “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” series. Simpson began his career at the legendary New York independent production company Killer Films. Simpson was also President of Appian Way, Leonardo DiCaprio’s production company.
In March of 2012, Simpson joined Nina Jacobson’s Color Force as a Partner. Founded by Jacobson in 2007, Color Force is responsible for the “Wimpy Kid” and “The Hunger Games” franchises. He is currently producing “American Crime Story: The People v OJ Simpson” for television. Based on the book by Jeffery Toobin, and directed by Ryan Murphy, the series stars John Travolta and Cuba Gooding Jr and will premier on FX in January 2016. Simpson graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Semiotics from Brown University. He serves on the Board of Directors of 826 LA, Dave Eggar’s Los Angeles based education charity. He also serves on the board of Cinefamily, Los Angeles’ premier revival movie theater.
